   I like tigers and the guitar. I spend most of my days doing homework, going to school, and playing games. Occasionally, I will hang out with my friends and family and go outside. I will watch a lot of TV and play video games if I run out of school things. After the day is over I will sleep.

I can spend a lot of time online playing games. I have a blog now where I post journals. I can use the media to keep in contact with family and friends. I can chat with them through different sites and programs. I buy stuff online. I search the web to find new things and explore. I also use it for many school related activities and assignments, such as blogging. I can also find something to do online that will help me relax and stay calm.

There is some overlap between my two responses, and I think that it is because they directly reflect each other, but they are still quite different. Family, friends, games, and school both appear in the responses. I think those are just things that media and technology gives to us to make things more convenient, but they also change the way we interact with others a lot. I think when I am on a computer I will be more social because you’re not really talking to people, and they are not really people you will see every day in your life. When in real life the people you interact people will have tone of voice and body language which makes me more nervous talking to people. 

Journal 2

After the second class I now have a feel for how the class will probably be going now. I thought that the class would be a lot harder than it was. I had a hard time doing the assignment in class though. I am not very good at assignments like those. I would rather just write about something that is factual or argumentative then something like the assignment. I think that the three writing assignments that are in the class will not be too difficult, but they will take a good amount of time to make good. I hope that the classes aren't the same every day and get repetitive, but I think the classes will be different and not always be the same. 

Journal 1

I was kind of nervous first going into class because I wasn't sure what the class would be like, and I didn't know how well I would be able to do in the class since I am not very good at English. The class was a lot smaller than I expected. When the syllabus was passed around the class and the schedule of what we were going to do was passed around, I noticed that the class wasn't as hard as I was making it up to be. The class is kind of like what was doing in high school, but a lot faster. I am kind of nervous about the three essays that we have to write and about blogging because I have never blogged before and am not sure how it will go.

Class was a lot shorter than I expected for the first day. I thought it would be a lot longer considering we had an hour and a half still left of class, but I am okay going home early.  I think that if I work hard in class and do all of my homework, I can get a good grade in the class even if I am not very good at English. I hope I am able to contribute to the discussions in class, but I am not very good at it. Hopefully after this class, my English will have improved a lot and I will be able to be successful in my next English class using what I learn here.

Introductory Post

Hi, my name is Andrew. This is my first time blogging, so I am not really too sure about how I will do with this blogging thing, but I will try my best. I like to play guitar and play video games and am currently still going to high school as a junior next semester. This is the first semester of college for me. I am not very good at English, but I am trying to finish it first, so I don’t have to deal with it anymore later.
